FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Direct answers about how we work

Pricing, contracts, ownership, the delivery promise, and what we don't do, all in one place.

Getting Started

How long does setup take?

Your site is live within 7 days of completing onboarding, or your first month is free.

What do I need to provide?

Less than most contractors expect. We need the basics: your business name, license number if your trade requires one, the service area you cover, and the services you want emphasized. Beyond that, any photos of your work you already have on hand, and your Google Business Profile login if you want us to manage it. We collect all of it through a short intake after you sign on, so you are not chasing down a long homework list before anything starts. If you do not have job photos ready yet, that does not delay launch. We go live on day 7 with relevant trade imagery and swap in your real photos as they come in, then keep prompting you for new ones so the site and profile stay current.

What if I already have a website?

We replace it with a professional build on our infrastructure and point your existing domain at the new site, so you keep the domain and any history attached to it. There is no migration project on your end. Once the new site is live and verified, your old hosting can be cancelled, which usually removes a bill you were already paying. Your domain, your content, and your photos stay yours throughout. If your old site had pages that were actually working, tell us during intake and we make sure that content carries over rather than getting lost in the switch.

Do you build fully custom-designed websites?

No, and we are direct about that because it matters. Our builds use a streamlined, conversion-tested foundation that we tailor with your branding, services, photos, and copy. That structure is exactly how we can deliver a professional site in 7 days at this price instead of running a multi-month design project. For a local contractor, a clean, fast, trusted site that converts calls is what moves the needle, not a bespoke design. If you genuinely need a fully custom-built design from scratch, we are honestly not the right fit. That is a different kind of business at a different price point, and we would rather say so than oversell.

Pricing & Contracts

Is there a long-term contract?

Month-to-month, no long-term contract. Setup fee is non-refundable after the 30-day money-back window. Cancel anytime with 30 days' written notice. Pricing is locked for 12 months.

Do you guarantee leads, calls, or booked jobs?

No. We charge for the work we control: your site being live and fast, your GBP being managed, reviews being requested and responded to, citations being clean. Leads, calls, and booked jobs depend on your market, pricing, team, and a hundred other variables we don't control. Anyone promising you guaranteed leads is either lying or charging more for the privilege of taking on the risk themselves.

What happens at the 30-day mark?

30-day money-back guarantee. If you're not happy in your first 30 days for any reason, we refund everything, setup fee included, and disconnect cleanly within 7 days. After that, month-to-month, cancel anytime with 30 days' notice.

What if I want to cancel later?

You are month-to-month after the 30-day money-back window, so there is no long contract holding you in. To cancel, send written notice. Thirty days later we disconnect cleanly. You keep your domain, your Google Business Profile, your reviews, your content, and your photos, because those were always in your name. There is nothing for us to hold hostage and nothing you need to buy back. The only item that does not come back is the setup fee, which is non-refundable past the first 30 days because the build work was already done. We would rather you stay because it is working than because leaving is painful, so we keep leaving simple.

Can I switch tiers later?

Yes, anytime, in either direction. Most contractors start on Minimum for a professional site, then move up to Pro once they want the active visibility work running in the background, and some step up to Premium when they want maximum coverage and the fastest turnaround. You can also move down if your needs change. There are no upgrade fees and no penalty for changing your mind. We simply adjust the monthly going forward, so the decision is never locked in at signup. The pricing page lays out exactly what each tier includes so the difference between them is clear before you change anything.

Services & Scope

What counts as a site update?

Updates to text, hours, contact information, and photos on your existing pages are included in your monthly fee at every tier, covered as your business changes. Changed your phone number, added a service line you want mentioned, want fresh job photos swapped onto a gallery, need your hours corrected for a season. Send the request and it gets handled. What is not included as a free update is net-new scope: a brand-new page, an additional service that needs its own dedicated page, or a full redesign. Those are real work beyond maintenance, so they are quoted separately and per request rather than absorbed silently. The line is simple. Maintaining what you have is included. Building something new is its own scope.

Does this include local SEO?

It depends on the tier, and we are specific about that rather than vague. The Pro and Premium tiers include active local SEO: ongoing citation work, Google Business Profile management, and the on-page basics maintained as your services change. The Minimum tier includes on-page SEO done at site build time, so the foundation is correct, but no ongoing local SEO work after launch. That is the deliberate trade-off for the lower price, not an oversight. If ongoing visibility work matters to you, Pro is the tier built for it. The pricing page breaks down exactly what local SEO work happens at each tier so you are choosing with full information.

Do you run Google Ads or Facebook Ads?

No. We do not manage paid ads at any tier, and we will not pretend otherwise to win the work. Paid ads are a different discipline with different pricing, different metrics, and a different risk profile, and doing them badly burns your money fast. If you want paid ads, hire a specialist agency that lives in that work. What we focus on is the visibility stack we can actually stand behind: the site, the Google Business Profile, the reviews, and the local SEO. That focus is why we can guarantee delivery on what we do sell, and it is also why we stay out of what we do not.

Do you do strategy calls or consulting?

No. Strategy calls and consulting are not included at any tier, and that is by design rather than a gap. Our delivery model is streamlined on purpose. The deliverables are concrete, the setup is structured, and once you are set up the visibility work runs in the background without recurring meetings on your calendar. That is what keeps the price where it is and your time where it belongs, on the tools. If what you actually want is ongoing strategic advisory work, that is a genuinely different service and you should hire a consultant for it. We would rather tell you that plainly than sell you meetings.

Ownership & Reporting

Who owns the domain, GBP, reviews, and content?

What's yours stays yours. From day one: your domain, your GBP, your reviews, your content, your photos. We host the website on our infrastructure and manage DNS pointing on your behalf. Cancel anytime, we step out cleanly. There's nothing to transfer because nothing was ever ours to begin with.

What about the website itself?

The site infrastructure stays on our hosting. If you cancel, we disconnect DNS, hand over GBP manager access, and you take all your assets, domain, photos you provided, content, reviews, with you. The site build itself doesn't transfer because nothing was ever yours but the build and hosting.

How do I track results?

On Pro you get a monthly 4-line snapshot: GBP views, new reviews, form fills, and lead source breakdown. On Premium you get a live performance dashboard with the same metrics plus citation status and lead source attribution. We don't report on calls or booked jobs because attribution gets murky and we don't promise outcomes.
