WEB DESIGN / ST. LOUIS
Web design for St. Louis contractors, built for how the metro searches
Nobody hires a crew for the whole metro. Homeowners search their own municipality, and a St. Louis contractor site has to answer for Kirkwood, Florissant, or South City by name. That is the build.
Web design for a St. Louis contractor from Airlocked Solutions means a mobile-first site built, hosted, and maintained on a published flat monthly fee, with a dedicated page per core service and a service area written municipality by municipality rather than as one vague "greater St. Louis" line. The build runs from Cottleville on the metro's west side, launches under The 7-Day Launch Guarantee, and stays in agreement with your Google Business Profile service area. Every price is published; plans are month to month.
A contractor marketing to St. Louis is really marketing to a patchwork: an independent city, a county of dozens of municipalities, and suburbs that spill into St. Charles County and across the river. Homeowners do not search that patchwork the way outsiders assume. They search their own square of it. This page is about building a contractor website that answers for those squares by name, and what that costs.
The metro naming problem a St. Louis site has to solve
"St. Louis" means at least three different things in a search box: the city proper, the county that surrounds but does not contain it, and the loose everyday metro that runs from Wentzville to the Illinois side. A roofing crew based in Affton might take jobs in all three and hold an address in none of the places its customers type. The build handles that the only honest way: your based-in city stated plainly, one service-area structure naming the municipalities you actually work, Kirkwood, Webster Groves, Florissant, Maplewood, the South City neighborhoods, whichever list is actually yours, and that same list mirrored in your Google Business Profile service area so search systems read one consistent story.
Built for the housing stock the jobs come from
St. Louis work photographs differently than new-subdivision work, and the site should use that. South City's brick rows, the pre-war housing in Tower Grove and Dogtown, the mid-century ranches across the inner county: these are recognizable to the homeowners who live in them, and a project gallery organized around real local jobs reads as proof in a way stock photography never will. The build assembles galleries from your phone photos, labels them by the kind of house and the kind of job, and puts a quote path next to every one.
What the build includes
The St. Louis version of the build is the standard system aimed at this metro: 5 to 7 pages with a dedicated page per core service, mobile-first because most contractor searches happen on a phone, click-to-call and a short quote form on every screen, and missed-call text-back for the calls that come in while you are on a job. On-page basics ship at launch: titles, descriptions, headers, and structured data that say what you do and which municipalities you work. Hosting, SSL, uptime monitoring, and 3 done-for-you edits a month are inside the flat fee, and launch is backed by The 7-Day Launch Guarantee.
Who does the work, and from where
Airlocked Solutions works out of Cottleville, on the metro's west side, about forty minutes from downtown. The live builds documented on the case studies page are metro businesses: a plumbing company in Lake St. Louis, an epoxy flooring contractor and a carpet cleaning company in St. Peters. Contractors are the specialty; the web design service page shows the full build system plan by plan, and the St. Louis page shows everything else we run across the metro.
The honest version
A website does not generate work by existing, in St. Louis or anywhere, and we never promise leads, calls, or rankings. What the fee buys is named and checkable: the build, the hosting, the monthly edits, the municipality-level structure kept in agreement with your profile, and the published terms on the pricing page: flat pricing, month to month, The 7-Day Launch Guarantee, and a domain registered in your own account from day one.

Common questions
My crew works all over the metro. Should the site say St. Louis or name every suburb?
Both, structurally. The homepage and service pages say St. Louis plainly, and the service area is then broken out by the municipalities you actually take jobs in, because that is how homeowners search: a Webster Groves kitchen search says Webster Groves, not metro area. Naming a municipality you never work inflates the site and wastes the visitor's time, so the list comes from your intake, not from a template.
Does it matter that St. Louis City and St. Louis County are separate?
For the site copy, yes. The city has been independent of the county since 1876, the county holds dozens of municipalities with their own permit desks, and a homeowner in Ballwin does not think of herself as living in the same place as one in Tower Grove. A contractor site that treats all of that as one undifferentiated St. Louis reads wrong to both of them. The build states where you are based and lists both sides of the line explicitly when you work both.
What does a contractor website cost in St. Louis?
The same as everywhere we work, because the price is published rather than quoted city by city: plans run $250 to $550 a month plus a one-time setup fee of $350 to $800, month to month, website included in every tier. There is no St. Louis premium and no custom-quote dance; the pricing page shows every number before you ever talk to us.
